Corps en communication? Corps en révolte. Animalité redécouverte? La ville laisse des traces dans des corps motorisés, betonnés, intoxiqués! Le corps en ville est le thème de la prochaine Zinneke. Het lichaam in de stad gaat over de manier waarop de mens zijn lijf beleeft en vormgeeft in een stedelijke openbare ruimte. Het sociale wezen dat we zijn uit zich in een gigantische cultus van het lichaam. Lichamen communiceren, worden verbeeld, gedroomd, samengesteld. Ze revolteren. We herontdekken het beest in ons. De stad zelf laat ook haar sporen na in gemotorizeerde lijven, gebetonneerde lichamen en geïntoxiceerde corpussen.

‘Bodies in the City’ deals with the way humans experience and shape their bodies in an urban public space. The fact that we are social beings is expressed in a huge cult of the body. Bodies communicate, are portrayed, dreamed of, composed. They revolt. We rediscover the animal inside us. The city itself also leaves its traces, in motorised, concrete-bound and intoxicated bodies. Make sure you are there in the flesh !
